Well, no matter what season you’re currently experiencing, I hope you’re making the best of it!

Lots of news to let you in on in the coming weeks as thing start to pick up for the year.

First, there’s the above-mentioned video release from the record I put out last December with Noon Fifteen. It’s a Harry Nichols composition called “Annie’s Song,” and it’s the fourth in a series of in-the-studio videos for each song of the record. This one features a string section containing members of The Ilium Works and Not From Wisconsin.

Where can you hear this song performed live?

Tonight, Friday, March 23rd, I’m playing a duo gig with Mandy at Agava from 9pm-11pm. A late but low-key performance for those of you in the central New York area looking for good music, food, and drink.

Then next week, the full Noon Fifteen lineup performs a double header on Friday, March 30th at Hopshire Farm and Brewery (6pm), and Saturday, March 31st at The Range (9:30pm opening for The Phryg). That’s an early show and a late show to accommodate fans of all ages and sleep habits! We’ll be debuting some new covers, performing a 20-minute mini-rock-opera we’ve been working on, and showing off our new drummer, Mr. Phil Shay.

The first week of April gets pretty crazy…

Thursday, April 5th I play A Rock ‘n’ Roll Farewell to The Nines, to raise money for the Ithaca Free Clinic and pay tribute to a venue that has nurtured me and many other musicians based in Ithaca over the past 30 years. Performers will include past and present members of Noon FifteenThe Blind SpotsAyurveda, Armageddon Monks, Hunt for HunterThe RungsStone Cold Miracle, and the list goes on… join us for pizza and a big ol’ party!

Friday, April 6th I’ll be at The Loft in Ithaca at 7pm for a duo gig of piano, percussion and songs with my old friend J.P. Feenstra. Looking forward to reviving some older entries from my songbook with my co-conspirator of over a decade.

Saturday, April 7thJulia Felice and the Whiskey Crisis will be in Hector, NY at Grist Iron Brewing Company from 7pm-10pm.

And if you want to hear me but you can’t come see me, two of my projects will be performing live on the air (and online) on VIC Radio for their annual 50-Hour Marathon.
Saturday, April 7th at 12pm you can hear Noon Fifteen.
Sunday, April 8th at 2pm you can tune in for Thru Spectrums.

And after that, I will take a long nap.

There’s more to come yet in April, but that’s enough to chew on for now. Hopefully, if you’re in the vicinity of any of these shows, you can come say hi. Those of you further away, let me know how to get you music, whether it be new videos, new recordings, or even just coming down your way in the near future…

Keep in touch, and see you soon!
